ProbablyMonsters is a developer of AAA studios that unite, guide and empower talented teams to create original content and exceptional interactive experiences. Our shared purpose is to build the next generation of AAA game development studios where people, culture, and creativity come first.

Duties and Responsibilities:

QA as a discipline at ProbablyMonsters is responsible for confirming and reporting on the status of projects developed by writing, executing, and reporting against test plans, milestone verification, and other tasks related to removing ambiguity around deliverables and verifying quality standards and design intent.

The Senior Tester will be responsible for evaluating what we are building by any means possible and then creating test cases to ensure we hit the quality bar required. Make use of your Unreal knowledge to test in the most effective way possible and dig deep to determine the root causes when things are not quite right. Help the team build replay suites so everyone can focus on testing new ground vs. running the same tests over and over again. Use your product cycle experience to work with developers and determine what the highest value targets are during each stage of development. Always be giving feedback to the team, be the ground truth, and ensure no critical issue gets ignored. Help both define and mentor a QA culture in the development team.

Who You Are:

  • Typically, four-plus years’ experience testing software or games

  • Ability to utilize test tools such as bug databases and test case management software
  • Passion for Test as a discipline and career path
  • Proven record of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information
